Our History

H Tredwin & Son was founded in 1860 by Harold Tredwin and has continued to help the bereaved and provide a caring, dignified and professional service for over 150 years.

Now in its fifth generation of Tredwins, we believe it is important to honour those who came before us and to share our foundations with the families we serve — where the business first set its roots and the people who shaped it into what it is today.

While Nick and Louise have over 50 years in the industry between them, you can imagine how caring for the bereaved and tending to the deceased is second nature to every generation of the Tredwins.
